Cerreta Candy Factory

For a short, sweet date, tour the Cerreta Candy Factory in Glendale. You can watch chocolates being mixed, molded, and cooled.  Witness massive mixers, molds, and moving belts turn scattered ingredients into delicious, delightful treats. 

Tours are free and only 30 minutes long, so you will have the time (and money!) to choose some sweet treats to share.  The Cerreta Candy Store has classic boxed chocolates, novelties like candy popcorn and chocolate covered chilis, and row upon row of tempting chocolates that you can mix-and-match and pay for by the pound.

We thought the factory was interesting, but eating the chocolates afterwards was our favorite part of the date.  This is a short date, and tours are only offered at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. so it is best to combine this date with another activity.  It makes a good meet-for-lunch date, and would be a charming romantic date on Valentine's Day.
