Chase FieldIf you are a true baseball lover, you've probably been to Chase Field many times before. This article is not for you. However, you don't have to be a die-hard fan to enjoy a sport-themed date to a Diamondback's baseball game. If you like baseball at all, or at least don't mind it, this can be a fun date.

Fans cheeringTickets start at just $9.00. (Expect to pay $2-$5 in additional fees.) You can spend well over $100 per ticket, but unless you are a serious fan, it isn't worth it. Parking runs from $8-$12. We rode the light-rail to avoid the hassle of parking in the parking garage, and the two tickets ended up being $7, cheaper than the parking.

Inside the stadiumOnce in the ballpark, you can walk around and choose food or gear from all the different vendors. Food prices tend to be high, but the portions are big. The scoreboard will make sure you can see what is happening on the field, even if you are in far away seats.

Scoreboard at Chase FieldThere are mini-activities, such as a hotdog derby and prize give-aways to keep you entertained. You don't have to stay for the entire game, either.  We gave it five innings, and then went away to get dinner.  The Diamondback were losing, anyway.

The major league baseball season runs from April through September.  To buy tickets or find out game informations, visit  http://arizona.diamondbacks.mlb.com.
