Sahuaro Ranch Park

Sahuaro Ranch Park is a historic homestead site in Glendale, Arizona.  Many of the original buildings are intact, along with the orchards and gardens.  There is a gorgeous rose garden, a fruit orchard, and groves of orange and olive trees. 

You can tour the historic buildings on Sundays, from 1-4 pm. There are also picnic tables, barbecue areas, soccer fields, volleyball courts, and a dog park.  We picnicked and strolled around the grounds on our date, and think the setting is fabulous for all sorts of dates.

History buffs- tour the house and old building. Sweethearts- take a romantic stroll through the rose garden and orange trees. Sanguine couples- bring your friends and host a barbeque and volleyball game.

Dog lovers- bring them along and play fetch in the dog park. Photograph the chickens, play hide and seek, toss a frisbee, or lie under a tree a talk.
